SIRE ERM™

Electronic Report Management or ERM has its origins in an older technology called COLD. COLD is an acronym for Computer Output to Laser Disk, referencing old-style management systems that included large jukeboxes filled with optical disks. The technology has since evolved and provides the capability to process large reports from your mainframe or other systems into indexed digital information that's directly searchable and retrievable by end users.

The ERM process starts by capturing data from a mainframe, financial system or any other system that produces reports to a file. The raw data is converted into a report, invoice, or other form. Finally, index information is extracted from pre-determined areas in the text and used to create a new index record. The new record and file is then stored in SIRE ERM.

SIRE ERM includes GUI-based tools that make it easy to design and implement a complete ERM solution. It enables you to view your reports simultaneously across the organization. Once your reports are stored in SIRE ERM, they become searchable, useable and valuable.
