Solution combines streaming video and Minutes technologies with an easy-to-use agenda automation tool for the same price as most Minutes/Video systems

Salt Lake City, UT— SIRE Technologies Inc. today announced the launch of SIRE Agenda Basic™ offering streaming video, Minutes creation and agenda automation designed to meet the needs of cities and counties with a population of 25,000 or less.

This move allows SIRE Technologies to effectively compete in the market of smaller cities and counties and provide clients with a unique solution providing more standard features and capabilities at a lower cost than most competitors. “The decision to enter the small government market was driven by our desire to afford smaller cities and counties with the same technological advantages used by their larger counterparts while meeting their specific needs and budget,” said Kris Painter, President of SIRE Technologies. “For the first time, these cities and counties can now take advantage of a single solution to address all their meeting management needs.” SIRE Agenda Basic offers most of the same functionality as its mid-market counterpart, SIRE Agenda Plus, but with some usage restrictions that make this solution a distinct fit for the meeting management needs faced by smaller cities and counties.

Unlike most competitive solutions, SIRE Agenda Basic also includes workflow and form modules. “We didn’t want to strip the product of its functionality to make it affordable for our smaller clients,” Painter said. “We want to provide a useful solution that addresses real needs with the features we offer, and leaves out those that apply mainly to a larger audience.”

In doing so, SIRE allows small cities and counties to manage the entire process, from creating and broadcasting meetings, to taking meeting minutes and publishing it all online for public access.
